I just finished reading "Steve Jobs" by Isaacson Walter.  This is the authorized biography of Steve Jobs authored by Isaacson Walter.
This is the story of the life of a man who changed the way we communicate and listen to music. According to the author's estimate, Steve Jobs will be counted next to the people like Einstein and Ford in the history of the world.

Well, this was the longest book that I read till today. In hard cover this comes into 656 pages but I think you may skip the last 20% part of the book which contains the acknowledgements and other data about the various interviews and notes which helped the author to write this book.

But don't forget to watch the collection of the photographs in the end, which are titled with "PLATES" A Portfolio of Diana Walker Photos.
Isaacson Walter is a prominent biographer who already had authored the biographies of Einstein, Benjamin Franklin and Henry Kissinger.

His way of writing is catching, once you start it, you have to finish it. He was approached by Steve Jobs to write his biography. The reason that Steve Jobs wanted him to write his biography is explained in the book itself, but the reason why Jobs approached Isaacson specifically is not answered in the book.
As we all know that Steve Jobs had a passion for creating the great products, and he respected the people who has the same passion. I think Steve must had seen something similar in the writings of the Walter.

Apart from being an author, Walter is the president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, located at Washington D.C. USA.  The way of his writing is simple, that is what makes this a good read.
Steve Jobs also loved the simple things, and I assume that even Steve Jobs would loved the simple way of the writing of the Isaacson Walter.
Book contains the whole life story of Steve, from his birth on 24 Feb 1955 to his death on 5th October 2011. Book shows his emotional and professional parts of the personality, and even one may easily interpret the reasons behind the way he was.

Thanks for your kind visit!
